Power-Efficient Automotive and Industrial Grade Single Board Computer Based on NXP® i.MX 6QuadPlus Processor

Based on the highest performing member of the NXP® i.MX 6 Series Application Processors, the NOVPED™i.MX6QP is a single board computer (SBC) with 4GB DDR, large capacity on-board solid-state storage and a wide range of peripherals. The SBC, which features a high-performance ADI Power by Linear™ power solution, can be powered from a single cell Li-Ion battery (+3.7V) to +42V DC, covering typical industrial/automotive power rails of 5V, 12V, 24V, 28V, 32V and 36V. Synchronizing all the on-board switching power supplies and setting the SoC to operate at ‘external bypass mode’ contributes to the design’s overall power efficiency and leads to better EMI performance.
